In bed with:

I go deep with intriguing humans, artists, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders every second Sunday ( From June 2 ). My guest & I have a duty to drop the facade & reveal our true self by having deep, powerful and completely vulnerable discussions that aim to guide, inspire and motivate YOU.

In Bed with : Carissa Walford

Rohan James says:

Wow Carissa! Your honesty and vulnerability really shine through. It has been an honour and my absolute privilege to be a part of your journey. As you said in the interview, this is just the beginning for you. You have a brilliant platform on which to share real stories with true human emotions that will inspire and uplift. You are right on purpose! Congratulations.

    Carissa Walford says:

😭😭😭 Not sure where I would be without all of your guidance, teachings and support! You helped me navigate a brand new me and you’ve been there since day DOT!! Your work is incredible and I’m so lucky to have you on team CW! Thank you for all that you do, for me, and everyone else. 🤗

RJ says:

A fantastic episode to cap off an amazing first season! Thank you for sharing more of your story. One of the things you mentioned was your goal for your network to educate, inspire and empower creatives. I can say you have definitely succeeded with at least one person (me!), and I bet many others as well.

Educate: I have learned about so many different topics from your episodes! Especially Dear Carissa, but also your guests as well. Manifesting, crystals, journaling, business lessons, childhood experiences affecting later life, self-worth, so many different things!

Inspire: So many inspiring stories of people living their dreams! Every single guest you have had on is inspiring in one way or another. And you too! Starting this beautiful network on your own terms!

Empower: These lessons and inspirations do empower me. I feel confident that I will find my path. I still feel a bit lost, but the path is somewhere waiting to be found! Journaling is helping me find myself and my way better, I think. I have written in my journal every day since I have started! Thank you for that!

Your network truly means so much to me. It is helping me be more me. (I have some happy tears in my eyes right now!) All my love to you and your crew and your guests. I can’t wait to see what next season has to offer!

Wish I could go to IBWC Live! I hope you have another next year. I’ll try to put some money aside so I can fly over there! I have never been to your beautiful country before! I have not even seen an ocean in real-life, so it would be a magical experience!

Jodie Clarke says:

This was probably my favourite IBW discussion thus far… so deeply relatable, it’s as if you took the words out of my mouth! I’m currently on the cusp of a career change after a ton of self analysis via intuitive consultants, healers and my own spirituality, in order to figure out what I need from this life to feel happy and fulfilled. Thank you for sharing your own trauma and journey, it takes big boss bitch balls to be open in an industry where people are so intent on appearing perfect. I can see in your eyes what it’s taken to get HERE. Keep shining! 💪🏼✨ #AriesGang

Tina says:

Love everything but this stuck out to me: “Will that actually fulfil you or are you just doing that out of safety?”

Have been doing lots of soul searching and taken a leap to leave a respected, well paid job to pursue my passion. Had a weekend of revelations and this just sealed the deal for me! Amazing interview x

    Carissa Walford says:

It’s crazy how on paper this job ‘should’ make you happy right? and we are led to believe in this society that a steady income and a ‘title’ will do the trick, and it never does. Follow that tiny bit of fire in your stomach, let it lead you to YOUR new beginning. Your intuition is only going to get louder now that you’ve had a weekend full of revelations. I’m so excited for you. Keep me posted. Thank you fo sharing Xx

manuela says:

Thank you for this incredible episode!! I truly learned some important lessons from this one which I feel empowered by. As a high school student on my last year, it’s tricky for me to truly understand and decide what I am meant to do for uni and if my decisions are the right ones, especially because I want to move to Sydney (I live in South America) to do so. However, your interview has helped me navigate through my thoughts and realize that things will come through as they should and that whatever I decide, things will and are evolving.

    Carissa Walford says:

Oh WOW! I’ve never been to South America!! Try writing down your goals and ask yourself what you want to work towards right now. Like you said, each experience gets us to the next, and your goals can change and evolve, but If you work towards figuring out the feelings you want from say moving to Sydney, that feeling can pan out a few different ways but we get caught up on ONE idea. Hope that helps xx

Kada says:

With setting your truth free, you are empowered to be more, give more & receive more. Thank you for your raw honesty & thank you for creating this network. I can’t wait to witness what magic is yet to come. So much love ❤️

Belle Debnam says:

Oh my goodness are you my long lost sister?! Wow, I connected with everything you shared so deeply. Thank you for sharing your vulnerabilities and your experiences so openly…you’ve reminded me that all experiences shape who we are (good, bad, and truly ugly) and we need to trust in ourselves and the Universe. I haven’t yet found my true purpose, but I am on my journey…

The network you are creating is powerful! Thank you xx

    Carissa Walford says:

Beautiful girl! I feel connected to you just by reading that comment! 🙏🏻 Good thing is, we have to navigate some of the tough stuff to understand it all and the amount of learning you do on your way is incredible. I’ve always said I love the journey way more than the destination! You don’t have to know your purpose right now, sounds like you are super aware of where your at and awareness, reflection and being introspective allows for the magic to happen, when it happens! All in good time. Keep me posted! I love a good brainstorm and visualisation session to help carve out purpose and passion! It’s in there somewhere! ❤️

Amie Duignan says:

WOW where to begin. So proud of you and your vulnerability in being so raw and honest! The world really does need more of this and its so beautiful to see and for everyone to feel connected 🙂
Thank you for sharing your story and for showing people it is OKAY to show your true self and let people in.. loved this xxx

    Carissa Walford says:

    Thank you thank you ❤️❤️❤️
At the end of the day, we all crave the same things as humans and it can get complicated but I really hope these conversations make us all realise we are all so connected and deal with similar issues in different ways! Glad we’ve got each other. Here for you always baby girl. So happy you enjoyed this episode ❤️❤️❤️
